May 2013 - Contact has been made with 'new' cousins in Canada. This is excellent news, as they are descendants of Duncan & Mary's son Malcolm (3). This line in the Generations Chart has been expanded accordingly.
June/July 2013 - Information received that Duncan (25) & Alexanderina (Macleod) (37) McPherson, and son William, were buried in Sighthill Cemetery, Glasgow. The cemetery foreman advised that there is no headstone.
September 2013 - It's just over a year since the gathering in Kyleakin. New family contacts have been made in Canada & Australia, and old ones have been revived. More family histories and images will be much appreciated.
November 2013 - Information added about the family of John (49) and Janet (85) McPherson in Camuscross, under Generations 4 & 5.
December 2013 - Articles about life on Skye, by Mina Macpherson, daughter of Farquhar (138) & Abby (140), have been added to the Library.
February 2014 - Photograph added of Jessie (MacPherson) Parker [44], and a card from Willie G N McPherson, a prisoner in war, to her daughter Ina.
April 2014 - 'New' cousin made contact from Australia adding additional information about the descendants of Duncan (19) & Mary (Macdonald) (59) McPherson, who emigrated there in 1854.
The Generations Chart is now a .pdf file, which gives readier access.
Sept 2014 - there have been large gaps in the list of descendants of John [6] & Mary (Russel)[32] McPherson (see right-hand column of the Generations Chart). Many are in the U.S.A. A cousin in Australia is busy filling these in.
Dec 2014 - The Generations Chart update mentioned for Sept. is now online, and the text has been updated accordingly.
Dec 2015 - Some information added about the family of a granddaughter of Martin [5] & Janet [7], Catherine (Robertson) Brookes [58].
Feb 2016 - An interesting early 19thC image has been added to the Possible Origins page.
Apr 2019 - Another descendant of Duncan (19) & Mary (Macdonald) (59) McPherson, who emigrated to Australia in 1854 has been in touch and it is hoped that more information can be added in coming months.
Sept 2022 - A new lving line from Malcolm (3) & Flora(10), 2nd generation, has emerged. Previously, we had Malcolm's son John(14) as married to Margaret Maclennan. This has been corrected to Margaret Nicolson(820). They had a son, Duncan.
